Encaustic
Encaustic literally means 'to burn in'. It is a very old paint technique, the oldest discovery is estimated to come from the 7th century in the Egyptian and Roman empires.
For the encaustic I use wax in different colors and a small tool that can be heated and has the shape of an iron to melt and apply it to paper.
